In China, you pay rent every three months for the next three months. So if your rent is 6000 RMB, you will have to pay 3 x 6000 RMB plus a deposit of one months rent which is another 6000 RMB. So you will need a total of 4 x 6000 RMB ready. In many cases, when you negotiate contract terms, most schools will cover 3 x 6000 RMB upfront or they will lend you the money, but not the deposit of 6000 RMB. So they cover 3 x 6000 RMB and you cover 1 x 6000 RMB.
